As a Java Script Developer you will drive innovation and help us build industry leading applications. We are currently building out a new a web-application development team, so this is a great opportunity to help shape the direction we take during this exciting period.

The emphasis for this position technical expertise in JavaScript APIs (NodeJS ExpressJS ) to pull from SQL databases to serve ReactJS yser Interfaces. We are considering considerable Frontend, Backend or FullStack developers depending on expertise and experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  Work as part of newly formed web development team to build out various web-applications
• 
  Contribute to broader application development centre of excellence

Required Qualifications

• 
  Strong development experience
• 
  Strong JavaScript web-application experience
• 
  Experience either Node.JS / Express.JS / React.JS

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend: Strong UI skills in modern framework (React.JS / Angular.JS)
• 
  Backend: Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs (Node.JS/Express.JS)
• 
  Backend: Experience designing & executing data-models & queries
• 
  Auth: Knowledge of SSO processes
• 
  UI Memory: UI State Management (Redux etc)
• 
  Database: SQL (SQL Server) / noSQL (MongoDB)
• 
  TDD: Unit-Testing frameworks
• 
  E2E: End-2-End Testing frameworks
• 
  CI/CD: experience pushing code into a deployment pipeline (Jenkins etc)
• 
  Dev-Ops: experience managing web-app deployments (Azure, Openshift etc)
